An advertising company built to be audited.

Lex & Lead connects people hurt in motor vehicle crashes with personal injury law firms. This category has a reputation, and mostly it has earned it. Our answer is the boring version of the business: flat fees, one firm per person, published standards on both sides, and paper behind every promise.

Every dollar, accounted for in three sentences.

Companies get cagey exactly where the incentives live. So here are ours, stated plainly enough that a regulator, a bar association, or your cousin the lawyer can check them.

$0

From you, ever.

If you were in a crash, nothing on this site costs you anything — not the form, not the call, not the connection to an attorney. We hold no interest in your settlement and take no percentage of any recovery, in any state, under any program.

Flat

From law firms, in advance.

Participating firms pay us fixed advertising fees, agreed in writing before anything runs. The fee is identical whether a case resolves for nothing or for policy limits, and we decline percentage or per-signed-case arrangements even when firms propose them — because the moment our income depends on outcomes, our screening stops being honest.

Into media and people.

Most of what firms pay us is spent on advertising and on staffing an intake floor sixteen hours a day in English and Spanish. The rest runs the systems that keep consent records, call recordings, and delivery logs for five years — the paper that lets both sides check our work.

If anyone claiming to be from Lex & Lead ever asks you for money, a card number, or a share of a settlement — it is not us. Hang up and report it to us athello@lexandlead.com, and to your state attorney general.

The same discipline, published from both directions.

What we refuse to send a law firm is exactly what protects you from being sold. Both documents are public, so either side can catch us breaking them.

If you were in a crash

Five promises, written plainly enough to be caught breaking: a person answers, one firm not ten, we say no before taking your number, we never touch your settlement, one word ends contact permanently.

If you run a law firm

A published screening standard with seven gates, a fixed contact cadence, and an automatic credit policy. Of every thousand inquiries our advertising produces, fewer than three hundred are good enough to deliver — and firms are billed only for those.

Five principles that decide the hard calls.

Written for the situations where the profitable answer and the right answer disagree — which, in this category, is weekly.

Selectivity over volume

We throw away most of what we pay to generate. A record that shouldn't ship, doesn't — including the expensive ones.

Humans on the phone

Software routes and records; a trained person holds every conversation that decides anything. No automated voice screens a claimant.

Paper over pitch

Consent artifacts, recordings, and delivery logs are retained five years and produced on request. Claims we can't evidence don't go on this website.

Say no early

To claimants whose situation doesn't fit, before we take a number. To firms who want outcome-based pricing. To markets we can't yet staff properly.

Build for the audit

Every practice on this site is written assuming a regulator, a bar association, or opposing counsel will one day read it back to us. Each quarter we publish the operating numbers that let anyone check.

Headquartered in Houston. Answering in thirty-eight states.

Our anchor markets — Houston, Dallas–Fort Worth, San Antonio, Austin, Phoenix, and Atlanta — get dedicated creative and local intake staffing. Statewide programs cover the rest, always with a firm licensed in the venue.

We're a distributed company: an intake floor working two overlapping shifts, a media team, and a compliance function that reports outside of sales — on purpose.
